About Me

My name is Jennifer Shamel and my husband, David and I have four daughters. When I am not helping to deliver puppies you can find me coaching our Ludington Varsity cheerleaders. My love of dogs goes all the way back to my childhood when my father raised beagles. After my husband and I started our own family, I wanted to share my love of dogs with our daughters. One of our daughters is allergic to dogs and after researching we found the hybrid breed of the Goldendoodles and immediately fell in love with them. We breed miniature, multi-generational Goldendoodles, which shed little to no hair and are the best choice for allergy sufferers. We are a doodle-loving family!

Where to Find Us

West Shore Doodles is conveniently located in the beautiful beach town of Ludington, Michigan. We specialize in family-raised Mini Goldendoodles. Our puppies are born in our home and are given lots of love and attention. All our puppies are raised as family members from our arms to your heart. We are a doodle-loving family!

Ms.Basel 3rd generation WSD. Basel lives with our daughter, Madelyn & her husband right here in Ludington. Our entire family plays a crucial role in our breeding program. These Doodles are family members.

Our Goal

Our goal is to produce healthy, happy puppies with exceptional temperaments. Each of our puppies will have completed 8 weeks of the Puppy Culture Program before heading home as well-balanced, adult, canine companions.
